MANCHESTER, Conn. (August 10, 2020) — Hydrofera, LLC, developer of Hydrofera Blue antibacterial wound dressings, today announced that Gisele Valentine, MBA, RN, BSN, CWS has been named Director of Global Clinical Affairs.
In her new role, Valentine will report directly to Hydrofera’s Chief Operating Officer, and will work with R&D, Marketing, International, Veterinary, and OEM business principals. She will continue to work closely with Sales to address Hydrofera’s needs for the U.S. and Canadian markets.
Prior to assuming her new position, Valentine served as Director of Clinical Education, East North America for Appulse Medical, the sales organization for Hydrofera. She has over 30 years of nursing experience; 20 years of which was in home health care.
In making the announcement, Tom Drury, Hydrofera Chief Executive Officer, said, “Hydrofera’s international business continues to see explosive growth, and opportunities in emerging markets along with the expansion of its platform technologies are demanding more clinical attention. We are thrilled to have Gisele bring her experience and leadership to this role.”
