Hydrofera Blue READY-Border® antibacterial foam dressings provide a perfect solution for secure wound protection and gentle dressing removal.
The polyurethane (PU) foam provides effective healing, while the silicone adhesive border protects the wound and is gentle on the skin.
Hydrofera Blue READY-Border® antibacterial foam dressings maintain a moist wound environment to promote healing without the need for hydration. Designed for shallow wounds, these sterile dressings manage moderate to high levels of exudate, while proving effective against a broad spectrum of bacteria and yeast commonly found in wounds.5
These polyurethane foam dressings feature a silicone adhesive border which is gentle on the skin, allows for atraumatic removal, and provides a secure fit, even on areas that are difficult to dress. The waterproof and breathable cover film supports moisture vapor transmission and removes the need for a secondary dressing.
Safe, non-cytotoxic.4 No hydration required. Can be worn up to seven days,6 or as clinical conditions allow.

Silicone Adhesive Border
The silicone adhesive border is gentle on sensitive skin and allows for atraumatic dressing removal. It eliminates the need for a secondary dressing and provides a secure fit, even on areas of the body that are typically difficult to dress.
No Hydration Required
Designed to be more user-friendly by being pre-moistened and ready to use, the dressing can be applied directly to the wound without the need for hydration.
Optimal Moisture Balance
The dressing provides the optimal moisture balance with excellent fluid handling capacity. It promotes and maintains a moist wound environment to support healing for up to 7 days, requiring fewer dressing changes.
Non-Cytotoxic
The dressing is non-cytotoxic, making it safe to use. It doesn't inhibit growth factors and provides protection against a broad spectrum of bacteria commonly found in wounds.

Application Guide

Preparation
Cleanse the wound in accordance with established procedures. Carefully dry the periwound skin.

Selection
Select the appropriate dressing size to ensure the dressing will cover the entire wound. No hydration is required. Place with the printed film side up and the adhesive side down.

Application
Remove one of the liners and position dressing over the wound. Remove the second liner and smooth the dressing in place. Smooth out any bubbles or wrinkles along the adhesive edges.

Dressing Changes
Ensure dressing changes every 7 days or more frequently if required by the physician. If the dressing retained its blue color where it had been in contact with the wound, the new dressing can be left in place for up to 7 days. If the dressing turned white or lightened in color, continue daily dressing changes until the blue color is retained.
Note:
Apply with the printed film side up, and the adhesive side down.
Hydrofera Blue READY-Border® can be left in place for up to 7 days, depending on the condition of the wound.
