Hydrofera Blue READY®
Hydrofera Blue READY® dressings are made from polyurethane (PU) foam, which manages the absorption of secretions and retains moderate to heavy levels of exudate away from the wound bed.
These dressings maintain a moist wound environment without the need for hydration and have a wear time for up to 7 days, requiring fewer dressing changes.
Hydrofera Blue READY® antibacterial foam dressings maintain a moist wound environment to promote healing without the need for hydration. Designed for shallow wounds, these sterile dressings manage moderate to high levels of exudate, while proving effective against a broad spectrum of bacteria and yeast commonly found in wounds.5
The waterproof film backing eliminates the need for a secondary dressing; it helps to absorb bacteria-laden exudate into the foam and away from the wound surface with ease.
Safe, non-cytotoxic.4 No hydration required. Can be worn up to seven days,6 or as clinical conditions allow.

No Hydration Required
Designed to be more user-friendly by being pre-moistened and ready to use, the dressing can be applied directly to the wound without the need for hydration.
Waterproof and Breathable Film Backing
The outer film backing provides external element protection and simplifies the application process as it eliminates the need for a secondary dressing. It is also semi-permeable and breathable to allow for moisture vapor transmission.
Optimal Moisture Balance
The dressing provides the optimal moisture balance with excellent fluid handling capacity. It promotes and maintains a moist wound environment to support healing for up to 7 days, requiring fewer dressing changes.
Non-Cytotoxic
The dressing is non-cytotoxic, making it safe to use. It doesn't inhibit growth factors and provides protection against a broad spectrum of bacteria commonly found in wounds.

Application Guide

Preparation
Cleanse the wound in accordance with established procedures. Carefully dry the periwound skin.

Application
Select and apply the appropriate dressing size to ensure the dressing will cover the entire wound. No hydration is required. Place with the printed film side up.

Cover
Secure the dressing using a bandage or tape. Can be used in conjunction with compression wraps and total contact casting.

Dressing Changes
Ensure dressing changes every 7 days or more frequently if required by the physician. If the dressing retained its blue color where it had been in contact with the wound, the new dressing can be left in place for up to 7 days. If the dressing turned white or lightened in color, continue daily dressing changes until the blue color is retained.
Note:
Apply with the printed film side up.
Hydrofera Blue READY® can be left in place for up to 7 days, depending on the condition of the wound.
